I learned that sometimes you need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable because sometimes that is when your most profound experiences occur.

I loved my homestay so much, I learned to broaden my horizons, tasted so much delicious and foreign food, and had the opportunity to travel within my program (which was definitely a highlight.)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to cook for yourself or eat at home as much as possible. Copenhagen is expensive! Also make your own coffee instead of buying a cup in the morning.
