What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The main take away was that I got to experience living on my own in Europe which was not easy at all and that I got to travel all over Europe.

Probably one of the most academically rigorous abroad programs.

Food is just really expensive in Copenhagen.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

You don't get an amazing cultural immersion if you live in an RA and overall the Danish aren't the easiest to meet. I would recommend living with a host family or doing a visiting family (which I did and loved) to get cultural immersion.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Very expensive but its on you. If you are frugal, go to Netto, and cook all your meals it is definitely affordable. Also if you live with a host family you wont have to spend much unless you want to eat out.

The Academic or Linguist
You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!

Comments: Jacob greatly improved over the semester and is very reasonable.

Comments: Hardest course at DIS, but still completely manageable if you take it seriously. The professor wasn't very good at lecturing or conveying information and standards were always unclear, but the subject itself was incredibly interesting.
