I learned to listen and learn about other cultures. Not to take things too personally because you are the one entering a new space.

It was easier with my host family. However I did not meet many Danes that were college students.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any experience with healthcare besides going through the process of getting a card.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This program is popular for a reason. You are in the heart of the city, with the cyclists, tourists and DIS students wondering around and exploring.

This is due to the frequency of English used instead of Danish by regular pedestrians.
