What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to be responsible and to take care of myself while I was abroad. It was worthwhile to live on my own in a new city because I learned to be independent.

I got to know a lot of other Americans through this program, but the nature of this program didn't immerse me into the local culture at all. A lot of my teachers weren't even local and all my classes were taken with other American students. It felt more like a Summer camp than a study abroad program.
