Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The expierence was very eye opening and gave me new perspective on the world and people from different regions

On-site administration of your program

While DIS achieve most of it's goal in getting people where they needed to go during travel breaks, everything was very last minute and we were only giving the information a day or two before we left. This left me host family clueless on when I would be back

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My living arrangements were great. My host family made me feel right at home in Denmark

* Food:

Copenhagen is full of amazing food!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The trael breaks gave me insights into various cultures around europe.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

We were part of the Danish Healthcare system and it was wonderful, but getting the cards took forever and we only had them a month before we all left.

* Safety:

Denmark is very safety, but need to look out for pickpockets

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It was a wonderful experience and changed my views of the world

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
