What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Academically, my time abroad shed light on interests I would like to pursue in the future by providing me with real world and hands on experiences. My view on many aspects of life were broadened and I am now more of a global thinker, being able to analyze and appreciate different cultures.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't eat out for dinner, it is more expensive. Make dinner at home, groceries are less expensive than one would think.

The Danish and Culture classes were extremely helpful and beneficial to my experience.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • I loved the course structures. They provided students with enough in class time combined with filed studies and hands on experience, making all course topics relevant and that much more insightful.
  • The professors. I loved learning from people who were not full time professors, but were employed in the field that we were learning about, at the moment.
  • The location. Copenhagen is an amazing city with a lot to give. It is a great place with such an interesting culture. It is the perfect place for an array of students to study abroad in, it is safe, and very fun!

The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events.
