DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Independence, comfort living in a foreign culture (not just traveling, but really living), a solid understanding of my future career path through the classes I took, some of my best friends, and a Danish family for life!

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Never had any issues

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Since all of my food and transportation was provided for, I only had to pay for incidental expenses (drinks/food out with friends, independent travel, etc.). But friends living in kollegiums and not with host families had to pay A LOT for food!

* Was housing included in your program cost? Yes

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 200 kroner (about $40?) Not much, I had very little to spend money on!
