What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Studying in Denmark was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have become a more confidence and independent individual. I made great friends that I know I will keep in touch with. I also gained an appreciation for different cultures.

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | around $40 a week. We also had a food stipened that helped with some of the cost of groceries |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | make sure that you use your money wisely. Although it may be a pain you should definitely make your lunch and bring it to school with you. Food around DIS can be expensive. Also look for student discounts and if you are not sure make sure to ask. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish that I knew that Danish people are extremely nice once you begin to talk to them. They may seem as if they are uninterested in you but that is just a cultural difference. Once you branch out and say hello and start to talk to them they will not stop talking. |
