CUNY - College of Staten Island: Italy - International Business in Florence

This course and study abroad program is led by Professor Debbie Brickman. Combining tours, company visits, and lectures, this program is designed to compare and contrast accounting, auditing, and tax laws in Italy with those in the US. The differences between GAAP accounting rules in the US and accounting principles in Italy will be examined.  Auditing procedures in the US will also be compared to those in Italy. In addition, Italian tax laws relating to individuals and business entities (corporations and unincorporated entities) will be analyzed.
