What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned very valuable workplace skills from the internship, including how to work on a team. It was definitely worthwhile and I see it as one of the main factors to landing my current job!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Best location in Cape Town. Beautiful and central.

* Food:

I had a kitchen and was able to make my own food. Also had a great restaurant in the building.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I could have integrated more if I had wanted to, but chose to mix more with the other study abroad members.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I was able to go to the University health care clinic twice for free.

* Safety:

I wouldn't go traveling around at night by yourself, but that's the nature of South Africa.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
