Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

This program was amazing. The classes all transferred and applied to classes that I needed for my major.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They held very beneficial seminars about Italy and its culture and how to travel throughout the country.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The town was extremely safe. It was small and there were not many residents.

* Food:

If you get tired of the dorm food, there is a "Tabacchi" where there are amazing sandwiches.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We visited nearby small towns, got gelato, went to an Italian mall, and traveled on the weekends.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Once again, I felt very safe in Paderno del Grappa.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I used about 200 euro per week/weekend..check the conversion rates.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Prepare for transportation costs, they are the most expensive. Take out cash at the ATMs on campus and in town, a lot of places don't like cards.
