Incredible Past Review

By (Brandeis University) - abroad from 08/01/2017 to 12/01/2017 with

CIEE: Cape Town - Arts and Sciences

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about what it means to be a woman of color in a world that is not safe for women with my racial identity. Cape Town is not an easy place to be for women of color (no cities really are honestly) and I really did learn a lot about myself during this time.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

the exchange rate made it really easy to do so.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? half of what I would spend in America each week
