There was not much emphasis of class work as there were 2-3 mandatory essays for each class and a final. No quizzes or tests were administered that were not written. |

CIEE provided capstones that gave us opportunities to explore Cape Town easily. We also got to volunteer and interact with families as we did a homestay one weekend. |

Cape Town is very dangerous. CIEE provides live-in RA's, protective housing with fences and a security guard at each house. |
