Studying abroad was definitely worthwhile for me. I learned how to adapt to a new culture and traveled more than I ever had, all while earning credit towards my degree.

Barcelona is a wonderful city to study and live in. It has something for everyone (great museums, beaches, shopping districts, vibrant night life). This program allowed for a healthy balance of classes, exploring Barcelona, and traveling to other countries.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? If you travel on the weekends, book your trips as far in advance as possible! When traveling, always ask about student discounts (public transit, museums, etc.); you can save a LOT of money this way!
