What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was the best time of my college career. I become increasingly independent and confident as the trip progressed. I learned how to navigate a foreign city and become comfortable in new environments.

I extremely enjoyed the CIEE study abroad program. The course I took were interesting and the programing CIEE provided add an extra enriching component to my time abroad.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Location: The canals were gorgeous and the people were extremely friendly
  • Dorms: I lived in the city center which was the perfect location to be in the middle of all the action and excitement.
  • Friends: The people I met on the program will be my friends for life. We bonded and shared experiences we will never forget.
* What could be improved?
  • I wish I was able to choose my classes rather than provide the program 10 to choose from. This way I would be guaranteed classes I enjoyed
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I didn't realize how much it rained in Amsterdam and the necessity of rain pants when biking! Biking is a necessity in Amsterdam.
