Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

area study course (international relations) was the only one I apprereciated. Learning Arabic in Amman is very good...but the class was too tough.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

they will help you well if you ask help

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

exellent! good family, good food, good room...everything is good! except shower condition

Family is good...but the location is little far from university.

* Food:

exellent! in Amman, you can enjoy local food if you live with host family. if you not like that, you can reach McDonalds and Burger King.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

trips, host family, and cultural learning were very good! I want to go back if possible.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

because of H1N1, they put attention to our health and safety, and actually they canceled classes when one of students got flu (maybe not H1N1) and they warned students when there was fight on campus

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $35 (if you not travel during holidays. I didn't go anywhere exept program trip in which I don't spend accomodation and transportation)
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I used $50 for flu test when I went hospital. it will be covered later by insurance but you have to pay temporary.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
Language acquisition improvement?

just i was lazy
