What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes, it was worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself, good and bad qualities. I also realized that maybe advertising is not a good field for me. I enjoyed the food and shopping in Hong Kong. I was pretty surprised at how westernized it is, even though I knew that it was colonized by England. It was different from what I expected.

Host country is very friendly, but there seemed to be a lack of communication between UT and CUHK. It felt very disorganized.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Daisy Li Hall <br /><br /> It was really far away from everything, and there was no internet access in the room.

Food is everywhere.

There's always something to do.

I felt very safe and I didn't get sick.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Let people know to bring extra blankets, or else you might have to spend money on bed sheets since the dorm doesn't provide any. Drinks are expensive in Hong Kong.
