What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. It was eye opening and insightful and amazing and all these wonderful things plus some. It is not your traditional study abroad where you are just in college in another country--it was more hands on and educational and you get a much higher level of exposure to modern problems and real culture and things like that. It was a really strong program, we met a ton of famous people, and overall everyone had a really amazing life changing experience

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Not too much, it depends on how much you go out to eat and drink. Very easy to live very cheaply.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Medical expenses can be high if you get sick. Plan on spending a bulk of your money on spring break.
