What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot of film knowledge in addition to traveling to foreign countries and learning about Czech/central European culture.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

All classes were at FAMU with their faculty, access to plenty of resources and tough academics.

On-site administration of your program

Lots of planned trips, dinners, and group activities, including optional weekly cultural ones.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Large apartments in a Czech apartment complex located in a very authentic/interesting central neighborhood.

* Food:

Czech food is good and cheap, but there is very little variety.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

It would be hard not to be, we lived in a very Czech neighborhood, went to Czech restaurants and learned basic Czech.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Never had any issues.

* Safety:

There are lots of pickpockets but besides that it is relatively safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
