I learned a lot about the history of central Europe, a better geographical understanding, and a better understanding of different European cultures in general.

This was the perfect program for because it included a traveling seminar which allowed me to see and learn about places in central Europe by visiting them.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Maybe about $50-$100 a week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It is definitely worth it to cook more during the week so you have more money to use for travel on weekends.

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? I had never taken Czech before.
How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Practice using Czech at restaurants and stores, but for the most part we are all beginners and nearly everyone will speak English.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish the courses had more informative descriptions. I also wish I had known just how small my classes would be (I had classes of 5-6 people)
