Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload was fairly light however the classes were long and lectures could be intense. I enjoyed the fact that we were able to go on field trips in our classes and be exposed to more concrete ways of learning about the subject matter. |

Maggie was phenomenal! She was always accesible and her help and advice was always sound and fast. I believe her awareness of what it feels like to be a student in a foreign country studying made her that much more equipped to help us |

The food here was not necesarilly my favoirte. I'm not a big fan of beans or rice which are staple foods here. I also enjoy a lot more spice and spicy food is not common in Costa Rica |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Bring LOTS of money, you are going to want to travel, and if you like to shop, most prices are pretty equivalent to the states. Clothes and shoes are actually more expensive than in the states in some places. Lunch will cost you at least $6 dollars a day, no dollar menu's over here for those who like to budget lol. |
