I learned so much about myself as a person and about a culture foreign to my own. The trip was very worthwhile, I wish I could do it all again.

I took one class while studying with CEA in Rome and it was the best college course I've ever taken. It was a photography course and was so hands-on that I learned more than I thought I could. When we weren't in the classroom learning, we were out in the city of Rome testing our newly learned skills and having fun all at one time. |

They were very helpful and friendly. I felt that I could always talk to them and ask questions. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
We had an apartment right in a neighborhood with the locals and that was fun. The apartment itself was very cute and was fully furnished for our needs. I loved the apartment, very cute and functional. |

The food was the best food of my life! Then again, it's Italy, of course the food is going to be amazing. :) |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The local culture was beautiful and the people were so great. I love the culture. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
Healthcare was easily accessible for us if we needed it and helped us when we got sick. |

I always felt very safe. I usually traveled in groups and we always felt safe walking around or going out in public. When I did go out alone, I watched my back at all times but I was never scared for my safety. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
I would give this a 3, it was easy if you knew where/how to shop. But if you ate out every day/night and shopped a lot, you'd have more troubles. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Try to budget the best you can. I know that being you're overseas you're going to buy souvenirs and experience everything you can, just watch how much you spend weekly. |

They wanted us to speak the language the best that we could, and we did, but it was difficult. |

| Comments: | This course challenged me because I was in a foreign country first off, and it taught me more about my camera and how to shoot under certain circumstances. Learning in the city was helpful and fun. Our teacher is a professional in the field so he knew what he was teaching us. |
