YES! I learned about new cultures, traveled abroad, have a more in depth understanding of the Spanish language and culture, I am more independent, I have made new best friends... I could go on for days!

I did not really study for my classes abroad.. just showing up to class and participating prepared me enough. I learned a TON! |

I think this is just an aspect of Spanish culture, not my program, but it seemed to take forever to get anything done. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I absolutely, absolutely loved my host family. I lived a little far from the barrio, which was only a mild inconvenience. Beyond that.. food was fantastic, place was so nice, I felt right at home. I miss it! |

My host mom was an AMAZING cook! I definitely ate too much, though. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I loved everyone in my program, we had so much fun. I did TONS of traveling! Hanging out outside of class was, really, the best part of the trip. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

I got bronchitis while I was there. I refreshed my medical vocabulary and went to the doctor. The only thing I didn't like was how expensive the medication they gave me for it was! |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I recommend staying for a year. My biggest regret is only staying for one semester! |
