Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academic is very rigorous and and the math I learnt was amazing. However, professors do not usually have office hours and course materials sometimes seem to be too challenging for me. Moreover, I felt I had't got enough time to explore more of Hungarian culture before I left. Overall, I would say the experience was absolutely rewarding.

The program offers multiple advanced mathematics courses that are not available at Middlebury. If you would like to learn more of mathematics, Budapest is really the place to go. However, sometimes the materials could get very challenging so that you won't have enough time to get in touch with the locals and have a "true" study abroad experience

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 400 dollars
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook food at home

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No
