Brigham Young University: London - London Study Abroad

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was an art and theatre emphasis program, and I feel like I learned a lot about London and it's history through those two outlets. I gained a lot of personal strength, by being by myself in a foreign place. It strengthened me to do things by myself. A study abroad program definitely makes you a more independent person, you become much more confident in your own abilities.

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Becoming acquainted with London
  • Museums
  • Trips to other foreign places in Europe
* What could be improved?
  • They should have encouraged us to become better friends with locals
  • The schedule of the days
  • The food- money was spent in a strange way on that
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish that they would have let us known about the schedule of the days ahead of time, or discussed it with us. I thought it was strange that we had to be home at 5 pm everyday, they could have given us a lot more free time.
