Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The reason I gave this 5 globes is because the everall experience I had with BridgeArgentina was fabulous. From the service of the people that work there to the actual learning methods and teachers that instruct there, the entire experience was great.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Bruno was the man. He was so nice and honestly just wanted us to be happy and learn at his school.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I liked my host mom, but she smoked cigarettes and it hurt my lungs because of the second hand smoking.

* Food:

great food everywhere. parilla and empanadas were great. and the wine! There is a great macrobiotic place to eat that is delicious and it's called Casa de Osahawa.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Great. It was kind of hard to meet many people outside of the people at BridgeArgentina (which did help a lot).

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe for sure, but I did get sick on the trip. However, I did not go see anybody for help, thus I can't blame anyone for not helping. I'm sure they would have been great.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Okay, but like I said you ahve to have a passport so that gets very annoying. Also, the banks are only open about 4 hours a day.

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

The only reason I did not give this the full 5 globes is because I was only there for 2 weeks. I love the method of learning - that there is no english-speaking in the classroom and that the teachers are never condemning in the least bit.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Get to know other people and be willing to go out on a limb to do so. Also, go to a futbol game.
