Yes, I got a taste of life outside of the US and learned how much I love the country I live in. My Spanish also improved a lot and I learned I love art history. - Harvard University View Entire Review
My language skills did improve, but at the cost of being very stressed and struggling to balance enjoying being in a foreign country and taking classes. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I loved the chance to be exposed to a different culture and learned a lot from the experience. I am now planning to minor in the language and continue taking courses related to the culture of Spanish-speaking regions. - Harvard University View Entire Review

About

The program offers the study of Spanish language, literature, and culture in one of Europe’s liveliest capital cities. The student’s level of preparation and background in Spanish will determine placement in different levels from intensive Spanish language courses to liberal arts courses that introduce students to topics such as contemporary Spanish culture, the history of Spanish painting, or twentieth-century Spanish writers. Excursions within Madrid and to cities such as Sevilla, Toledo, and Segovia complement the curriculum.
