What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely, I gained so much experience and it was great for my future.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The school workload was not a lot but the actual working part was full time.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The apartments were nice and in a great location!

* Food:

Bring food to work if you can because it gets expensive as LA is expensive. BU had no affect on what I ate.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I didn't get to experience the city as much as i would have liked. I should have organized my time more and seen more of California.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe and the apartment was a big part of that.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? at least $100 dollars a week probably.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Going out is extremely expensive and buying lunch at work was expensive.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
