Boston University: London - London Internship Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My closest friends at school did study abroad like I did and I cannot wait to get back to PC so we can all share in our amazing experiences and adventures. Not only is study abroad a great thing for you to do to learn more about yourself as an individual, but the opportunity to build your resume.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The progeram had many strengths. The program provided many opportunities for the students to participate and enjoy various day trips as well as plays and shows that the common English would go to. The program was very dedicated to making sure the student got the best experience living in London and taking advantage of all it had to offer.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The non-academic part of my program in London was great! I had so much fun traveling and meeting different people. After all that is one of the main attractions to studing abroad!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Have a budget! I did not and now I am paying for it! BU did not have a meal plan so I had to cook or go out to eat a lot, and it adds up fast!
