Study Away and Internship Programs in New York City

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
EiAbroad program was everything I was looking for. Even though I am from the East Coast i didn't have the connections in NYC to land an internship. My university also lacked based there so EiAbroad came as the perfect partner for me.
