Practical experience, interaction with a different culture, networking. It was a fun experience, it was worth it.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The overall internship was great. I learned how to use different accounting software and my task were diverse. Although some days were slow and there wasn't a lot to do.

We found different animals in your apartment.

You can find people from all backgrounds in New York so it is easy to integrate.

Really depends on what you eat, since New York is expensive.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to cook at home as much as possible. Try to bring food to work. Buy a metrocard. Limit your restaurant outings.
