Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The internship taught me a lot but so did the culture aspect of the piece.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

There were always there to be seen and heard. When small cultural issues came up a team member assisted.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We were in a great part of town (East London) that was young, fun and food was inexpensive.

* Food:

Its London, what else can I say.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

It was pretty easy. The fact that there is no language barrier really makes everything much easier.

* Health Care:

No problem there as insurance was provided.

* Safety:

East London is "hip" but also safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

London is an expensive city so be prepared. However by the Liverpool Street Tube stop, where EiAbroad housed us there are a number of cheap places to eat and food shop.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
