I learned about myself, my academic process, and the British culture. It was extremely worthwhile.

It was extremely rigorous excellent because of that.

We made our own food while we were there

I lived with Americans, so I did not get as much exposure as some might with a host family. However, I did get a chance to integrate as I lived in the city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The Oxford Program was one of the best decisions I made in my collegiate career. It was academically difficult and stretched me in ways that I did not know was possible. It has influenced my decisions about my future, and I will be forever changed by it

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

One could have lived on $50 income. However, I chose to spend more on coffee shops and eating out.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $80-100/ week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It depends on what one wants out of one's experience. I decided to spend more because I wanted to have good experience with my friends and spend time outside the library.
