Yes. Although it was challenging at times, it was a valuable experience. I've always enjoyed British history and literature and my one semester stay there increased by interest.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

They had required reading and recommended reading, but both were actually important. The required work was less than what I was accustomed to, but the recommended work was very important and worth doing.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Arcadia people were very helpful when I needed it and when a fellow Trinity student in a different program got sick while in London they immediately checked on how I was doing. I was very impressed.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

British food sometimes gets a bad reputation but I found lots of good food. London is also a very diverse city and I had access to many different culture's food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The trip to Scotland was absolutely amazing and was perhaps my favorite experience while abroad.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt in danger healthwise and was properly informed of what to do should I have gotten sick

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Remember that it's a different currency and what may look cheap may actually be expensive.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
