It was really cold--not great heat.

It was very social and the university initiated a lot of social events and organized trips.

The city seems safe. My only complaint was how cold we all were in the winter and how we had a hard time sleeping. I don't think the school addressed that well.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I can't remember, but it was not too much to purchase food and drinks each week. Clothing was another thing :)

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's really great for a cultural immersion as you are the only American school in the city. However, unless you choose to live with a family, it's still quite Americanized.
