What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My Study Abroad experience was the time of my life. I have learned a lot about myself and have gained independence. It allowed me to see Europe and all that it has to offer. If you can, deffinatley travel both Ireland as well as Europe. Just to let you know, almost all Irish students go home on weekends so you wont be missing much.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The Arcadia staff was very helpful throughout the entire experience. The Orientation session was a little long but was very informative. The Trip to Belfast was a great experience. A Few more trips would have been nice as well as more group outings during the semester. Better than I expected.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in a Student Apartment Complex, Gort na Coiribe. I had 5 house mates. My immediate roommate was American and my flat mates were 3 Irish girls. I loved my housing experience and my housemates.

It was about 10 min from the city center and from Campus. Very good location

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Field Trip to Belfast, Group Dinners, and Orientation in Dublin were a blast.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Safety was a non factor. Only Health issue was Mumps outbreak but received numerous emails and advice on what to do.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
