Some things in New Zealand are very cheap while others are very expensive as there is many things that need to be imported.

  • Make more of an effort to split up people who know each other during orientation.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It is possible to have a great work/life balance which is something I felt like I really learned on my trip.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
