What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes! This study abroad experience was very worthwhile. I grew so much as a person and I'm definitely inspired to live more well rounded life. I'm looking to the future in more global terms. I will never forget Tuscania -- the people, the culture, the beauty...it has all piqued an inspiration in me that I have never felt before and that I plan to carry with me with all that I do.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I really enjoyed the classes I took in Tuscania. I thought that the professors were really passionate about what they taught and very knowledgeable as well. They really wanted to be in the classroom and interact with all of us students. The classes were manageable and very interesting considering we got to actually experience the things we learned. For instance, the week after we learned about certain ruins and architecture in my History of the Mediterranean Civilizations class, we actually went out into the country and to the site of the ruins!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The support services were incredible. They knew every answer to all of my questions and were very supportive. The administration went out of their way to make sure we were having the best experience possible.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The house I lived in was beautiful and my host family could not have been nicer. The house was incredibly clean and very close to the school and nearby cafes. I didn't have to buy a thing unless I wanted to -- everything was provided for me! My host family did not know any English at all which I truly appreciate because although it was a challenge at first, I came out of the experience being able to speak and understand Italian all the better!
