API (Academic Programs International): San Joaquin de Flores - Instituto San Joaquin De Flores

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a whole new set of wonderful people in my life as friends and I gained a whole "second family" who's doors are always open for me. I'm planning to visit them all in January.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? It depends. You can do a weekend at the beach with food hotels and transportation for anywhere between 60-80. If you like to party figure in some extra cash.
