I learned to be more open minded and my world view has expanded. I learned how to be even more independent. I believe it was very worthwhile.

I think Salamanca was a good first study abroad location because I was around people with the same experience as me. So I had support in an unfamiliar place.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Limit the times you eat out per week and budget your money to include this. Also budget some shopping money because shopping in Salamanca is so fun.
