What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The ability to travel to many different countries within Europe, see many places I would have not otherwise seen, and experience living in a different culture. It was completely worthwhile and I would do it again.

I loved Ireland, the API program, and had a great contact in Dublin to help us with any questions/problems we had the entire semester.

A Look Back

  • Give students a budgeting worksheet ahead of time
  • Make sure students know there is no dining hall on campus
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I saved a bit more for trips and also for food while on campus since our campus did not have a dining hall.
