Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

They were extremely nice and accomodating. Treated like a guest.

* Food:

The food was amazing. We never ate out anywhere. Our food was always cooked by the locals.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We went to a tourist and local beach, jumped off cliffs into the ocean, toured a slave cave and swam in the cave pools, jumped off a bridge into rapids, and plucked chickens. All were definitely fun experiences.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I didn't need healthcare during my trip.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Bring materials and teaching supplies for children 6-13. We didn't know we were going to be teaching subjects at the camp so we didn't bring anything like that. I think this program would benefit education majors.
