I loved my program. Experiential learning is the way to go!

Finances

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? The metro was the most expensive part of my semester. We used the DC metro to go everywhere. I was spending $20 a week on the metro alone.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Have money saved up before you go abroad!
