My trip abroad was extremely worthwhile. I found it fascinating to live in a city so different from my own. I felt I learned a lot in the process of adjusting to a new culture and being outside of my comfort zone.

  • Increased communication from the program coordinators prior to arrival
  • More opportunities to speak to other participants prior to arrival
  • More support from the international office for bureaucratic issues such as visas and residence permits
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known that it would have been wise for me to live in an apartment rather than in dorms. I found the rules very strict and the social atmosphere lacking as most students went home on the weekends.
