About

Amman is a wonderful environment for the study of the Arabic language. The Jordanian dialect is close to Classical Arabic, so when you try to talk to the local people, they will easily understand you.

Jordan is a secure modern country. It is a very safe place for foreigners to visit and learn the Arabic language. Amman is quiet, comfortable and welcoming. Foreign tourists rarely encounter problems. Jordanians are more likely to speak to you in Arabic than in English or French and everyone you meet is more than happy to lend a helping hand.

On the evenings and in weekends you may like to stroll through the souk in Amman, relax in the ancient or modern cafés, enjoy a wide variety of Middle Eastern food, or enjoy sea view and swim in Aqaba or the Dead Sea. You can also visit Petra, one the seven wonders of the world, sleep in a tent in the desert and enjoy watching the moon and stars in a way you have never seen them before.

Special Program: Ahlan runs classes in different cities at the same time. If a student chooses more than a six week program, he/she can move anytime from Alexandria to Cairo to Amman and vice versa. This special offer allows you to change cities and sites, exploring new experiences while following the study program!
