What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I originally was only going to study aboard for fall term and I just couldn't leave, so I extended my stay for the whole year.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The educational system is a lot different in Spain: hardly any homework, use a 0-10 grading scale, and the real focus is getting experience speaking Spanish in and outside of the classroom.

Amazing people who are very dedicated and go out of their way for anybody. They make the program and go above and beyond!

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I have been treated like royalty and am considered like part of the family.

* Food:

Food, food and more food- I love it.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The most memorable and rewarding experiences have been volunteering with adults with Cerebral Palsy and also volunteering with children with cancer in the local hospital.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Extremely safe at all hours of the day and night.

You speak Spanish all day long and the people here are very friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Best environment to learn Spanish for all levels.
