About

With beautiful warm weather, plenty of wildlife and unbeatable scenery, you can hardly choose a better place to volunteer in Africa. No qualifications are needed to join this healthcare project, your in depth induction program will fully prepare you for your volunteer activities. You need only a pair of willing hands to provide much needed health and well-being support to vulnerable members of the community.

As a volunteer on the public health project you will spend time on a variety of projects, including clinics, centres for children with special needs, an old people’s home, as well as health clubs in secondary schools. Your duties will range from teaching, assisting with meals and playing to cooking, maintenance, building and working in the vegetable garden. African Impact has partnered with Building a Caring Community (BCC) to help care for children and teenagers with special needs and work specifically with those in the most rural and underdeveloped areas.
