Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I really enjoyed how each of my courses made extensive use of Bath's resources and history. Often my courses met at historical locations in Bath for on-site study, or participated in walking tours/class around the city. I felt these courses were unique to ASE and I could not have found them anywhere else. My professors were very knowledgable and truly enjoyed teaching students.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The ASE administration is positively fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the entire administrative team. The program was well run, from details of visas and travel tips to helping us find our way around the city to providing general support.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in a wonderful, picturesque, historical house in a residential neighborhood. I enjoyed feeling like a resident, while making friends with my housemates/fellow students. I also appreciated that ASE provided us with a welcome package of pantry/food supplies, plenty of cooking utensils and household items, and bed linens. I felt at home within a day or two.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Bath is the safest city in the UK, and I always felt safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

This will mostly depend on whether you cook or eat out.
