What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that I definitely enjoy research more than veterinary surgery. The program was worthwhile because it gave me the experience needed to decide what I want to do with my future.

My roommate came down with strep throat the last week of our program. The people in our program were extremely helpful! However, the health care system was very difficult to work with. Most places refused to see her because she was not a Scottish citizen.

The city was very safe. Of course, you should always take the normal safety precautions.
