Yes it worthwhile I learned a lot at my internship at will help me in the future.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program internship was great experience however I was left alone to make my own goals and was never given a project nor did my advisor meet with me more than twice

The apartment was in a great location however far from the internship transportation was easy.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt like I was able to adapt well and really felt apart of Scottish culture since I was going to work everyday and really living there instead of feeling like a tourist.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any health issues

I felt really comfortable walking around by myself and even at night time.

The exchange rate was a lot higher than I expected and touring around as well as food was expensive

  • The Adelante advising and in-country help and advising
  • The internship had no direction, the adviser was not helpful or avaliable
  • The apartment was left dirty after the previous girls left
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? You need to plan out weekend excursions before hand instead of just going off anywhere.
